More News About Apple’s iPhone 4
On June 24, all the expectations and dreams about how a perfect phone should be will be fulfilled. That’s when Apple will present its newest version of the iPhone 4.
In the time of a fierce competition between smart phone companies, Apple decided to make a leap to hold on to its leading position. And it’s going to reach its goal.
When you compare the new iPhone with all the others smartphones out there, it seems that the rest of these kinds of phones are not smart enough…
Anyway, these are the new eye-striking features of the iPhone 4:
- Two cameras. Sounds strange? Not at all. The iPhone 4 has a camera on either side. The main camera on the back is for taking photos, while the one on the front is for video chat with a WiFi connection. Starting June 24 you can chat with your friends wherever you’re in a WiFi hot spot!
- Amazing screen. The screen on the iPhone for has 4 x higher pixel definition than the previous iPhone models! It has a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. Imagine the image quality!
- Multitasking. Always getting annoyed when switching from different programs and applications on your current phone? This problem doesn’t exist with the iPhone, just as before. Switching between applications is a seamless experience.
- It’s all about the glass, baby. The iPhone 4′s protective Retina glass is more scratch and shatter resistant than previous models.
- Stainless steel. The band of the iPhone 4 is made from forged stainless steel. According to Apple, it’s unique alloy is five times stronger than ordinary steel.
- HD video (720p) recording with a 5 megapixel camera. Need I say more?!
The iPhone 4–the thinnest iPhone ever–will be available at $199-299. And comes in two colors–white or black. With this price Apple strived to make its product affordable for more consumers, and of course, we are totally happy about it, though some are sceptic about the promised features of the iPhone 4.
Naturally, not everyone is please. The iPhone 4 has glass on both sides and now, instead of the efforts to clean at least one side of a phone, some people are concerned about having to make twice the effort to clean both sides (who cares?). Other arguments against it are those that it has no real unique qualities besides the FaceTime chat function (HD video recording, hello?). And though this iPhone model on one hand can be compared somehow with the SonyEricsson’s Xperia X10, on the other hand it’s actually completely incomparable. These opinions may not actually make any point, and at least for me, they sound extremely shallow.
In any case, the iPhone 4 is truly an innovation, and even if you take it as just a newer version of all the previous models without any particular advantages, one thing is definite – the iPhone 4 is better than any other mobile phone that a human has ever held in his hands, from all points of view.
