Sony Ericsson Unveils Xperia X8Sony Ericsson unveiled its latest innovation–the Xperia X8. This version is just as if not more stylish than the previous models, Xperia X10 and X10 mini, but in a slightly smaller body. The phone is expected to be available by year’s end.

The Xperia X8 comes in the following color combinations–Dark Blue/ White, Aqua Blue/ White, Pink/ White, Silver/ White and also in all-white.

The Xperia X8 has a 3 inch touchscreen display with amazingly high pixel resolution–320×480. Xperia X8 measures 3.9 x 2.1 x 0.6 inch. The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera. Also, direct uploads to Facebook are supported.

The phone uses the Google Android operating system, which means you can access numerous applications. Also you can enjoy Timescape which besides allowing easy access to social networking sites like Twitter, combines them in one place making their use more convenient.

When fully charged the battery gives you the opportunity of 4 hours and 45 minutes talk time and standby time of 446 hours. So the power efficiency of the battery is amazing.

Xperia X8 supports Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) and Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes with a 2GB microSD card which can be expanded up to 16 GB and the total phone memory supports up to 128 GB. The phone comes with a micro USB connector.
